Apprenticeships:Apprenticeships are designed to meet the needs of your business. The training is always relevant and it is tailored to the needs of your sector by people who genuinely understand what you do. Apprenticeships are also an investment in your company's future as you acquire employees with specialist skills for your business that enable you to keep abreast of new technology. TCAT Apprenticeships have been established within Telford College for over ten years. The apprenticeship team work closely with employers, assisting them with recruitment, selection and training of young people in Shropshire. Recent expansion of the programme now enables TCAT Business Solutions to provide the same high levels of bespoke apprenticeship training nationwide. The success of the TCAT's apprenticeship training programmes is based on the rigorous assessment of the needs of the individual business and TCAT's emphasis on placing the right candidate on the right programme with pre-determined timeframes. - Initial assessment of the training need
- Selection and delivery of training programmes to meet the specific requirements for the employer and learner
- Key skills support
- Assessment to ensure the targets and skills are achieved
- One-to-one support to meet the individual's requirements
TCAT Business Solutions' technical experts examine the client's current business processes to establish what is already available to support and develop the competence of the employees. Areas identified for potential improvement are analysed, discussed and agreed with the employer. Employees are then assessed on an individual basis to establish their current knowledge and skill levels to confirm their individual training requirements. A bespoke training programme is then designed and delivered to meet the overall needs of both the employer and employee and to meet apprenticeship framework requirements. Training is then provided on the employers' premises at mutually convenient times so that effective support is given.
