Level 2:
The level 2 in Health & Social Care is intended for individuals whose role involves carrying out a broad range of care activities, requiring a limited amount of supervision and working with some autonomy.

Level 3
For level 3 NVQ a significant difference in seniority and care provision within the care setting is desired, covering care planning and decision making. Examples of care activities could be administering medication, contributing to therapies, moving & handling and support within daily care needs.

Children's Care, Learning & Development:
Children's Care, Learning & Development is offered at levels 2 & 3. Working as part of a team, level 2 will be providing care and learning development for children. Examples of practice would be communicating with adults and children, helping to keep children safe, supporting environments and maintaining safety.

Level 3 will have a considerable amount of responsibility and autonomy, promoting health & safety and promoting children's rights.

Registered Manager Award:
Registered Manager Award is a Level 4 NVQ which recognises skills, knowledge and understanding of individuals who manage the provision of care.
